Privacy Policy
This policy explains what LoRd de KaRe Online Pharmacy collects when you use this website, why we need it, how it is protected, and how you can have it removed.
What we collect
Account details
Your email address, and your name if you provide one, created when you sign up with email and password or with Google.
Order details
The medicines you order, quantities, prices, payment method chosen, and the delivery address and phone number you enter at checkout.
Prescription files
Any prescription image or document you upload so a pharmacist can review it before your order is dispatched.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your health information for advertising.
Why we need it
- • To let a licensed pharmacist review what you have ordered before it is dispatched.
- • To pack, route and deliver your order to the address you gave us.
- • To let you sign in and see your own order history.
- • To contact you by phone or WhatsApp about an order that needs clarification.
Payments
Card, mobile money and cash-on-delivery options are settled with you directly or through the payment provider you choose. Full card numbers are never entered into or stored by this website.
How your data is secured
- All traffic between your device and this site is encrypted over HTTPS.
- Accounts and sessions are handled by our managed authentication provider. We never see or store your Google password, and email passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
- Every database table enforces row-level security, so a signed-in account can only read and write its own profile, orders and uploads.
- Prescription uploads live in a private storage bucket. Files are not publicly reachable by URL — only you and authorised pharmacy staff can open them.
- Staff access is role-based. Pharmacist and delivery accounts see only the order information needed to verify and deliver, and roles are stored separately from profiles so they cannot be self-assigned.
Who can see your information
You, and the pharmacy staff who need it to fulfil your order — the reviewing pharmacist, the rider assigned to your delivery, and the pharmacy administrator. We share information outside the pharmacy only where the law or a regulator requires it.
Keeping and deleting data
Order and prescription records are kept for as long as pharmacy record-keeping rules in Ghana require. You can delete an order that has not yet been processed, and you can remove prescription files you uploaded, from your account. To have your whole account and its data removed, contact us and we will confirm once it is done.
